Yes. You can use your voice to capture memories and ask Tap questions. Tap transcribes your speech and uses the resulting text to make your memories searchable.

Yes. You can capture memories either by speaking or typing.

Yes. You don't need to remember exactly what you originally said. Ask Tap naturally, such as 'What did Paul say about the Honda?' or 'Where did I park?' Tap searches your memories for the information that best matches your question.

Tap can understand dates and relative time references such as today, yesterday, Friday, last Friday, and similar phrases. This helps you find memories based on when something happened.

RECALL lets you ask Tap what you know about a particular person, place, subject, or situation. Instead of finding just one memory, Tap can bring together related memories and summarize what you've previously remembered.

Yes. When you clearly mention a person in a memory, Tap can use that information to help you find related memories later. Tap does not need you to manually organize memories into contact files or folders.

Tap can store information like a notes app, but it is designed around remembering and finding information later. You don't have to organize memories into folders or remember exactly where you put something. Tell Tap what you want to remember and ask for it later.

Tap uses AI to help you find information in your own memories, but it is designed specifically as a personal memory assistant. Tap's answers are grounded in the memories you have saved rather than acting as a general-purpose chatbot.

Tap is designed to answer from your saved memories. When Tap does not have enough information to answer a question, it should tell you that it does not have that information rather than inventing an answer.

Yes. Tap can show the memory or memories that support an answer so you can see where the information came from.

Yes. You can view, edit, and delete your saved memories. Deleted memories are removed from Tap's retrieval system.

No. Tap sends your recording to a transcription service to turn it into text, then saves only the text. The original audio recording is not kept.

Your memories are associated with your account and are intended to be accessible only to you. Tap uses authenticated access and server-side user scoping to keep one user's memories separate from another user's memories. To transcribe speech, make memories searchable, and answer questions, memory text is processed by AI services.

Yes. You can delete your account from the Account page. This permanently removes your account, your memories, and your question history.

Yes. Tap is designed mobile-first and can be used from a smartphone. Tap can also be installed as a progressive web app on supported devices.

Yes. Tap can be accessed through a web browser on supported desktop computers.
